Donkey Kong - January Edition

Hi Girlies!

 

Who's in this month?!  If you're new to the JBS version of Donkey Kong, well, we're just challenging ourselves to see how much we can produce with our kit this month.  It's a fun little challenge with lots of chatting and encouragement.  Feel free to join in!

 

I thought I'd give you some tips for stretching your kits - ie these are things the design team is allowed to add . . .

basics - plain cardstock, buttons, brads, thread

vintage - sparingly

jbs product - sparingly

technique - computer generated, diecuts, sewing, stamping, paint, ink, glitter, embossing, etc.

 

the design team will be working with the january kit offerings.  you, our friends, can work with your december treats.  generally the design team has 3 (or 4) kits to work with, so feel free to create your own add-on "kits" if you need to.

i'm working on #3 and #4 simultaneously (?????) and have #5 thought up in my head ...

i made one with artisan and one with mostly antiquarian.  have my idea for the project kit.  need to open up the main kit and get some ideas percolating!

i'm in for sure and i'll be using the jan. kit. and wow is it ever packed full of goodies! i'm so excited to guest this month!!

i'm getting ready to start creating right now. hubby is out of town and i have all day. yipee!!

yay julie!  g has a playdate over and i'm scrapping today too!

 

isn't the bo this month fun?  i love all the kits for different reasons, but this one i just keep thinking how "happy" it is.  it's such a nice contrast to last month with all the kraft.  in fact, now i want to go dig out my leftovers from last month and make a layout with the two together.  i bet that would make a nice mix.

doris,all the bright happy colors are perfect for a month that is usually pretty drab. i just finished my first using the  antiquarian only. so much fun stuff in it. i might just have to order another one. lol!
