I am LOVING all of the challenges so far.  Of course I simply had to do one related to journaling, so here it is: fill no less than 1/3 of a layout with journaling!

Here's my take on the challenge:

We will choose a winner on Sunday, October 30, at 3 p.m. CST.  One lucky person will receive a $10 gift card to JBS Mercantile!

ETA:  The winner has been chosen!  See the end of the thread for details.

Wow, this will be a tough one.  Means I have to write for real!  Sounds like a good one though!
I'd love to see what you come up with, Ursula!  I just finished my layout -- I'll have it posted tomorrow.
Thanks for the challenge Jill!  This will be good for me.  Journaling is such an important aspect of scrapbooking in my view, and yet my pages often don't show that I feel that way.
Amy, I agree -- it is so important. Essential.

Beautiful page Jill!  Here is mine.  I combined it with white space, though if that is not allowed then I'll simply use this for journaling.  Do let me know if that is ok.

Combining challenges is fine!  The use of white space is PERFECT here -- and I so love your journaling and how you worked in the rub-ons, twine, and stamps.  Smack dab gorgeous!
this is perfect for the challenges ursula - the journaling is so heartfelt and what scrapbooking is all about
Very pretty page. Love the sun stamps on your journaling!

Your layout is so great Jill! Love your handwriting and that you filled in the loops : )

Ursula! Yours is beautiful too! Love the layering!

Ugh, Jill journaling is my Kryptonite...so that makes this a good challenge. I'll B back. Thx.

I love your LO!
