I'll try! I've had two versions of Halloween mini books that I've started and I'm really excited about both of them - maybe this will put one of them to use. I've been wanting to do a round one forever. Bought some really cool vintage round paper stuff at the antique store today.

I'll give this a go!  Much less stressful than December - and fall is my favorite season!

I think I'm going hybrid ... and possibly round also ...

... and I picked up these awesomely cool foil leaves in NYC the other day ...

hey ladies,

may i ask what a october daily is? is it create something daily? if it is, i'd love to join in.

yes julie . . . are you familiar with ali's "december daily" where she makes a mini-album that covers the 25 days leading up to christmas?  or shimelle's "journal your christmas" along the same principal . . . or her "learn something new every day" where she makes a mini-album over the month of september?  i've always wanted to do the same type thing in october . . . i think i'm finally going to go for it this year!
doris, thanks for the links. i love the idea and fall is my very favorite season. so i'm in for your october version. i'll stay tuned to this thread for any more info.
ohhh i really want to do a fall album this year (fall is my fave too!). i think i'll join you with the october daily and just merge it into my fall album. yipee!
i love this idea doris!  it's my favorite time of year to snap photos - so I'm in!!
I'm SO in!

I'm in....I love fall too.  Lots going on in our family with 2 birthdays in there.  Plus all the other fun fall stuff.  How do you go about it?  Make up our pages/book now and then put in the pics or do the pages with pics as we go along?  So right now do we just gather stuff to use in the daily book???  Just wondering how to get started.

FUN!

I think it will work best for me to get the pages all ready to go ahead of time. As it is right now I have about 20 circles cut out and held together with a binder ring. Most of those circles are double sided with lined paper on the back for journaling. I'm going to add most of my pics all full size of the pages so I don't have to worry about making them "work" on the pages all the time. I have a little tin full of embellishments I've pulled together so I can use from that without taking much time. All I need to do now, I think, is to go ahead and add some day numbers, then when October 1 arrives I just have to add journaling and a photo.

I was wondering how to start this also Louise ...

it seems like it would be so much easier to set up the basics first like Briana said ...

i've gotta think think think!

I think I will go ahead and set up some pages but I'm going to wait on the numbers because there are some days that absolutely nothing is going to be happening.  Those are the ones that will stress me out if I have to think of something to be on that day.  I may still use the day to put a pic or something....like maybe home decor or something.  But I think I will definately get some pages ready.  I think this will be fun!
