I can't wait to see them get started!  Yay October!  We'll be traveling to Florida tomorrow, so I won't get to start my mini till Sunday.  Post a link here when you've updated somewhere so we can all see the pretties and encourage each other.  :)

I'll have something to share tomorrow! How's it going for everyone? We had a great day 1 but day two is just a normal day which I am happy to document anyway, the hum drum stuff, you know.

i'm going to post my first few pages tomorrow too.

most of my dailies are going to be normal everyday things because we have no official october plans. but i like that idea. after i am finished with it. i'm probably going to send it to my son, who is away at school. it will give him a little taste of home.

I have had a busy first couple of days of Oct.  It will be hard to get it all on the first 2 days.  Corn Maze and hayride...getting a pumpkin, watching the first Halloween movie of the season, drinking hot chocolate, first fire in the fire place...Yes it has been cold here is east TN...36 degrees last night and 39 tonight...brrrrr...And highs in the day of only 55.  I am trying to find a photo shop program to print the picture(s) I want to use as I go along.  Any suggestions?  Or I may just make a Wal Mart run every few days...I am using the corn meal bag we got a few months ago as the cover, so my pages are basically going to be that size.  I love how it is turning out so far.  Alot going on this month...and now the announcement of an online crop...whoohooo....This is a super fun month indeed.  And I can hardly wait til the 10th when the kits ship out...

Louise - I think I'm going to use my word processing program to print mine -- nothing "special", but it works!  I'm using mac pages, but i know you can do the same in word.

 

oh!!! the corn meal bag!!! what an awesome idea!

 

I'm going to get 3 days printed tomorrow and post ...

Oh, I never thought of that...I'm going to try that.  May save me some trips to Wal Mart.  Plus it makes it much easier to do them as I go too...Thanks.

brrrrrrrrrr louise!  i'm almost glad i'm in florida this week visiting the fam, but it's been cold here too.  upper 40's at night which isn't THAT cold, but it is when the 'rents haven't turned on the heat yet!  and DANG!  you've had a super busy first few days!  i've made mental notes of what i want to write each day, but i'm anxious to go ahead and write it down today before i forget, lol.  and i too am having photo processing issues.  walgreens et al isn't very accessible back "home" as we live in the pine woods of north florida.  it might be a few days before i can get some pics developed.  but i've finally gotten started on assembling pages today at least.  and the cornmeal bag is a GREAT idea!  i need to dig mine out when i get home.

betsy, great idea to use mac pages. i'm going to try that. thanks! i've been to target twice already and it would be great if i could stay at home and print them.

briana, i absolutely love yours!! how perfect is the oct kit. for this. i can not wait to get mine and since i'm creating my pages as i go, i'll still be able to use it.
